Solutions Architect (hedgehog lab)

Jack works across a variety of projects, clients, and industries, supporting early pre-sales support, development and implementation, release and migration activities, and ongoing support and maintenance. He is primarily responsible for the technical architecture of solutions, supporting delivery where necessary with technical leadership, implementation support, and client engagement.

• Led creation of a proof-of-concept for a 'bring-your-own-cloud' solution for a trusted cybersecurity assessment and management provider, proving out concepts early through research and practical work, and later supporting development and implementation
• Performed a technical audit of a legacy web and mobile app estate for a mental health and wellbeing education platform, producing near-, medium-, and long-term recommendations for performance and maintainability improvements, including an 'ideal architecture' with a high-level migration plan for future work
• Supported migration of a business-critical internal application from AWS to Azure for a boutique tour operator through technical documentation, diagrams, and stakeholder engagement, minimising friction and downtime while maintaining a robust solution
• Led technical discussions in a workshop for new internal QA tools with a leading bakery business, later defining the technical solution and architecture before and during development
